| The coin is hard enamel and satin gold with an epoxy finish. Side1: Superimposed over the KDSM ribbon colors is the Korean peninsula depicting the separation of the two countries by a Demilitarized Zone at the 38% Parallel. This is surrounded by the veteran organization bill initiator name on top and the KDVA credo around the bottom. Side 2: In gold is the obverse of the KDSM medallion showing the coiled four toed Korean Dragon surrounded by the KDSM authorization date and five stars that depict the five service branches having served in country during cease-fire service. This is a Trademarked design of the KDVA. |
